Gardening in the high desert? YES!!! Located in Zone 8b/9a my weather goes from one extreme to the next but I don't let that stop me from growing 85% of my families food in my backyard. I am passionate about gardening and sharing everything I know. Gardening has changed my life forever and in more ways than you can imagine. As an Advanced Holistic Nurse specializing in plant medicines it's my goal to teach as many people as possible how to grow your own medicine (food/herbs) in the desert developing a more sustainable community.
