Mesquite Garden Nonprofit

At Mesquite Garden, our nonprofit organization is a 501(c)(3) dedicated to fostering holistic wellness through sustainable urban farming, herbal medicine, and education. Our mission is to empower individuals with the knowledge and tools to heal the mind, body, and spirit by connecting them to the earth and one another.

Through our USDA Urban Farm, we provide immersive educational programs, workshops, and hands-on experiences that promote sustainability, holistic health, and the healing power of nature. Our focus is on growing food as medicine and creating a community rooted in love, healing, and environmental stewardship.

As educators and healers, Porsha Bentivegna and Maricea Muhammad are committed to bridging the gap between Western healthcare and holistic health practices. Combining their extensive backgrounds in clinical nursing, advanced holistic health, and herbalism, they deliver innovative education that redefines wellness. Together, they aim to inspire individuals and communities to embrace sustainable, integrative approaches to health and well being.
